RALEIGH, N.C. (Nov. 8) – Saint Augustine's University will visit crosstown rival Shaw University at Spaulding Gymnasium on Thursday, Nov. 9, to conclude the 2017 volleyball season. The match begins at 6 p.m.

The Lady Falcons (2-7 Southern Division, 5-10 overall) are led by outside hitter Shakera Hall (Jr./Bridgetown, Barbados) and setter Taylor Irving (Fr./Litchfield, AZ). Hall leads the CIAA and ranks third nationally in Division II in kills per set (5.12) while Irving ranks second in the CIAA in assists per set (7.21). Irving also ranks 12^th in the conference and 33^rd in Division II in aces per set (0.48).

Keveesha Wattley averages 2.56 kills per set for Shaw (8-1 Southern Division, 24-4 overall). Saraya Klink leads the CIAA in hitting percentage (.333) and ranks third in blocks per set (0.98).
