SAU Volleyball To Play In CIAA Round-Up II This Weekend (Sept. 22-23)

RALEIGH, N.C. (Sept. 21) – Saint Augustine's University will compete in the CIAA Volleyball Round-Up II at Big Ben's Home Court in Richmond, Va. this weekend.

The Lady Falcons are scheduled for two matches on Saturday, Sept. 22. They will play Bowie State University at 12 p.m. and Lincoln (Pa.) University at 2 p.m. On Sunday, Sept. 23, the Lady Falcons face host Virginia Union University at 1 p.m. on the final day of the Round-Up.

SAU is 1-3 in the CIAA and 1-6 overall. The Lady Falcons are led by Brittany Jamison (Jr./Charleston, SC) with 1.81 kills per set and Janina Mayers (Fr./Christ Church, Barbados) with 1.24 kills per set and 3.48 digs per set. Zoey Isom (Sr./Phoenix, AZ) averages 4.52 assists per set and 2.86 digs per set.
