RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 13) – Saint Augustine's University (SAU) heads to Salisbury, N.C., on Monday, Oct. 14, to visit Livingstone College in women's volleyball at New Trent Gymnasium. The match starts at 6 p.m.
The trio of Brittany Jamison (Sr./Charleston, SC), Janina Mayers (So./Christ Church, Barbados) and Deandra Small (Fr./St. Philip, Barbados) leads the Lady Falcons. Jamison and Small rank eighth (2.36) and ninth (2.32) in the CIAA in kills per set and Jamison ranks 10th in points per set (2.73).
Mayers is the CIAA leader in digs per set (4.57) and Malique Webb (So./St. Catherine, Jamaica) ranks sixth in assists per set (5.36) for SAU (0-4 Southern Division, 0-7 CIAA, 0-7 overall).
Victoria Onozie is the top hitter for Livingstone (2-2 Southern Division, 3-3 CIAA, 6-4 overall). She ranks third in the CIAA in kills per set (3.03) and second in points per set (3.48). Marlana Jackson ranks fifth in hitting percentage (.277) and Dekiya Wilson-Thomas ranks fourth in assists per set (6.14) in the CIAA. Bethaney Williams ranks sixth in the conference in digs per set (3.68).
