SAU Volleyball Hosts Fayetteville State Wednesday

RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 8) – Saint Augustine's University hosts Fayetteville State University in a CIAA women's volleyball match at Emery Gymnasium on Wednesday, Oct. 9. Admission is free to the match, which starts at 6 p.m.

The Lady Falcons (0-3 Southern Division, 0-6 overall) are paced by Brittany Jamison (Sr./Charleston, SC), Janina Mayers (So./Christ Church, Barbados) and Deandra Small (Fr./St. Philip, Barbados). Jamison ranks ninth in kills per set (2.32) and 10^th in points per set (2.68) in the CIAA. Mayers leads the CIAA in digs per set (4.67), and Small ranks second on the team in kills per set (2.26) and digs per set (1.89).

The Broncos (2-0 Southern Division, 4-4 overall) are led by the trio of Chynna Hunt, Diamond Holmes and Casandra Watson. Hunt and Holmes rank sixth (.268) and eighth (.238), respectively, in hitting percentage, and Watson ranks sixth (2.42) in kills per set in the CIAA.
