RALEIGH, N.C. (Nov. 6) – Saint Augustine's University will host Shaw University in a CIAA women's volleyball match on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the first of two meetings in two weeks between crosstown rivals.
Thursday's match was originally scheduled for Oct. 17, but was moved due to a scheduling conflict. The re-scheduled match will start at 6 p.m. inside Emery Gymnasium on the Saint Augustine's University campus.

The rematch will take place Nov. 14 at Spaulding Gymnasium on Shaw's campus with a starting time of 6 p.m.
The Lady Falcons are sparked by Brittany Jamison (Sr./Charleston, SC), Deandra Small (Fr./St. Philip, Barbados) and Janina Mayers (So./Christ Church, Barbados). Jamison averages a team-best 2.26 kills per set and Small averages 2.15 kills per set and a team-best 2.10 digs per set. Mayers averages 4.44 digs per set, which is tops in the CIAA.
The Lady Bears are led by Amari Fletcher, Jailynn Butler and Jada Flowers. Fletcher ranks first (.339) in hitting percentage and Butler ranks fourth in kills per set (2.75). Flowers is the CIAA leader in assists per set (8.45).
The SAU women are 0-8 in the Southern Division, 0-13 in the CIAA and 0-13 overall. The Lady Bears are 7-1 in the Southern Division, 12-1 in the CIAA and 13-8 overall.
