RALEIGH, N.C. (Sept. 15) - D'Ontre Gilliard of Saint Augustine's University (SAU) is featured in this week's CIAA Student-Athlete Spotlight series.

A sophomore quarterback from Holly Hill, S.C., Gilliard excels on the field and in the classroom. A computer information science major, he has a 3.1 grade point average.

Last year, Gilliard played exceptionally well, earning a spot on the All-CIAA Rookie Football Team. He led all CIAA freshmen in passing yards and touchdown passes.
