RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 29) – The Saint Augustine's University football team will be on national television Saturday, Oct. 30.
Aspire TV will show the Falcons' football contest against Johnson C. Smith, which will be played at the Irwin Belk Complex in Charlotte, N.C. Kickoff is 1 p.m.

The contest will showcase the Falcons' young budding talent. Fifty-nine players on the roster are freshmen.
Two-time CIAA Rookie of the Week Deandre Proctor (Elizabeth City, NC) is the top freshman on the squad. He achieved the rare feat of winning the award as a quarterback and wide receiver because of his immense athleticism and skills.
In his first collegiate start at quarterback last Saturday, Proctor accounted for 243 of the Falcons' 356 offensive yards against Fayetteville State. He passed for 167 yards and a touchdown and rushed for a game-high 64 yards and a score. Proctor also caught a pass for 12 yards.
Proctor ranks fourth in the CIAA in yards per catch (19.4) and seventh nationally in Division II in longest reception (92 yards) this season.
Keasean Williams (Clinton, NC) is also a freshman standout for the Falcons. He ranks fifth in the CIAA in receiving yards per game (63.2) and is tied for fifth in yards per catch (18.6). Williams is also tied for eighth in catches per game (3.4).
Another freshman to keep an eye on is linebacker Lee Sales (Winston-Salem, NC). He ranks sixth in the CIAA in tackles per game (7.2).
Team-wise, the Falcons are the least-penalized squad in the conference and average the fewest penalty yards in the CIAA.
