SAU Volleyball Faces Hollins, Trinity (DC) In Tri-Match Saturday

RALEIGH, N.C. (Oct. 8) – Saint Augustine's University will take a break from the CIAA to tangle with two non-conference opponents on Saturday.

The Lady Falcons take on Hollins and Trinity (D.C.) on Hollins' home court in Roanoke, Va. The match against Hollins begins at 12 p.m. followed by the match against Trinity at 2 p.m.

The Lady Falcons (3-0 Southern Division, 4-2 CIAA, 4-7 overall) are coming off a 3-1 win over Livingstone at home on Thursday to remain tied for first place in the CIAA Southern Division.

Madison Jones (Fr./Durham, NC) and Tionna Graham (Jr./Portmore, Jamaica) are the offensive leaders for the Lady Falcons. Jones ranks third in the CIAA in hitting percentage (30.6) and Graham ranks eighth in kills per set (2.51).

Jones and Graham rank ninth (2.96) and 10^th (2.93), respectively, in points per game. Sydney Moore (So./West Bloomfield, MI) is third in the CIAA in service aces per set (0.53).
