SAU Volleyball Visits Johnson C. Smith Monday In Regular Season Finale

RALEIGH, N.C. (Nov. 7) – The Saint Augustine's University volleyball team concludes the regular season with a road match against Johnson C. Smith on Monday, Nov. 8 at 6 p.m. The site is Brayboy Gymnasium in Charlotte, N.C.

Fans can watch Monday's match on the CIAA Sports Network (theciaasn.com), goldenbullsports.com and saintaugfalcons.com.

A win solidifies a spot in the CIAA Tournament for the Lady Falcons, who currently have the seventh-best record (6-9) in the conference.

Unlike previous years, the top eight teams in the conference, instead of the Northern Division and Southern Division top four teams, advance to the CIAA Tournament, which starts Nov. 16 at the site of the higher seed. The semifinals and finals are Nov. 20-21 in Bowie, Md.

The Lady Falcons (4-5 Southern Division, 8-14 overall) defeated Johnson C. Smith (2-7 Southern Division, 5-10 CIAA, 5-14 overall) 3-0 earlier this season in September.
