SAU Volleyball Hosts Johnson C. Smith In CIAA Opener Tuesday (Sept. 21)

RALEIGH, N.C. (Sept. 20) – Saint Augustine's University hosts Johnson C. Smith in its CIAA volleyball opener on Tuesday, Sept. 21, at Emery Gymnasium. The match begins at 6 p.m.

Both teams prepared for the CIAA season by competing against tough competition. The Lady Falcons (0-5 overall) hosted the SAU Quad Invitational and played in the WVSU Invitational. The Golden Bulls (0-4 overall) participated in the North Greenville Tournament.

The Lady Falcons are led on offense by Tionna Graham (Jr./Portmore, Jamaica). Janina Mayers (Sr./Christ Church, Barbados) and Maegan Williams (Fr./Durham, NC) lead the team in digs, and Sydney Moore (Jr./West Bloomfield, MI) leads the Lady Falcons in assists and service aces.

The Golden Bulls are led by Brianne Davis on offense. Jeneene Lewis has the most digs and Jada Berry is the team's top setter.
