RALEIGH, N.C. (Nov. 7) – Two Saint Augustine's University student-athletes earned All-CIAA volleyball honors on Monday, November 7th.
Setter
Sydney Moore (Jr./West Bloomfield, MI) was chosen first-team All-CIAA, while middle blocker
Madison Jones (So./Durham, NC) was selected to the All-CIAA second team. The CIAA Volleyball Coaches Association and Sports Information Directors Association voted on the All-CIAA and All-CIAA rookie teams.
Moore picked up her first all-conference honor after establishing herself as one of the conference's top offensive setters and servers. She finished the season first in the CIAA in service aces (52) and average service aces per set (0.68). Moore also ranks second in total assists (526) and assists per set (6.92).
Jones also picked up her first all-conference honor after emerging as one of the CIAA's most powerful and accurate hitters. She finished the season ranking second in hitting percentage (.330). She also led the Lady Falcons in total kills (177).
