TAMPA, FL (March 18) – Led by Isaiah Chapman (Jr./Raleigh, NC) and Malaysia Johnson (Fr./Fort Lauderdale, FL), Saint Augustine's University ran two national qualifying times in the USF Bulls Invitational track & field meet at USF Track and Field Stadium.
On Friday, March 17, Chapman placed second in the Men's 400 Hurdles with a time of 53.13, which ranks fifteenth nationally in NCAA Division II this season. Johnson placed fourth in the Women's 400 Meters with a time of 55.74, which ranks twelfth in NCAA Division II this season.
In addition, Kadain Roper (Jr./Portland, Jamaica) placed sixth in the Men's Javelin Throw with a mark of 48.17 meters, Kailen Perry (Fr./Raleigh, NC) placed ninth in the Men's 400 Meters with a time of 48.62, Tionna Graham (Fr./Portmore, Jamaica) placed ninth in the Women's Shot Put with a mark of 30.95 meters, and Kahlil West (So./Roanoke, VA) placed eighth in the Men's Long Jump with a mark of 6.70 meters.
