RALEIGH, N.C. (Aug. 22) As football season kicks off next week, the Saint Augustine's University (SAU) athletics department announces its first Fan Appreciation Day of 2023.
 
Fan Appreciation Day presents all Falcon Fans with an opportunity to meet head coach Howard Feggins and the rest of SAU's staff and players on Saturday, Aug. 26, at 1 p.m. at the George Williams Athletic Complex. The event is free and open to the public.
 
Team schedule posters will be given away, while SAU's mascot, Auggie and the SAU Bluechips Cheerleading Squad will also be available for photo opportunities with fans as well.
 
The Falcons will open the season on the road the following week against Lenoir-Rhyne on Sept. 2 at 6 p.m.
