RALEIGH, N.C. (Sept. 1) - Saint Augustine's University hits the gridiron for the first time this season in a non-conference football game against Lenoir-Rhyne on Saturday, Sept. 2. Kickoff is 6 p.m. at Helen & Leonard Moretz Stadium in Hickory, NC.

SAU and first-year Head Coach Howard Feggins hope for a successful turnaround this season starting by facing the Bears for the first time since 2019. Lenoir-Rhyne is also nationally ranked for the third straight season, coming in at no. 23 in the d2football.com poll and no. 25 in the AFCA national poll after finishing 8-3 overall and 7-2 in the South Atlantic Conference last season.
