CARROLLTON, G.A. (Sept. 8) - Saint Augustine's University begins their season in a non-conference volleyball tournament hosted by the University of West Georgia. The Lady Falcons will play three matches starting with Georgia College today, September 8th at Noon at The UWG Coliseum in Carrollton, GA. The remaining matches are versus Emery & Henry at 2 p.m. today and Concord University tomorrow, September 9th at 10 a.m. 

SAU and third-year Head Coach Tacara Moxey enter the season seeking their third consecutive CIAA Tournament bid. In addition, the Lady Falcons have won the CIAA championship in every decade since their first championship in 1978 for a total of eighteen (18) CIAA championships, the most of any school in the conference. Four of those championships were won during Coach Moxey's tenure as a member of the Lady Falcons Volleyball team from 2000-2003. The team aims to continue their storied tradition in a quest for their nineteenth (19th) conference championship this season.
