ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (Sept. 9) – Saint Augustine's University (SAU) travels to face Elizabeth City State for a sold-out CIAA conference opening match-up at the 2023 Down East Viking Football Classic, which takes place today, Sept. 9, in the Rocky Mount Athletic Stadium at 600 Independence Drive. 

The Falcons face the Vikings at the classic for the first time since 2008. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. SAU aims to earn their second victory over the Vikings since 2018. Overall, the Falcons are 1-5 versus ECSU since 2009, and a victory today will snap a four-game skid.
