The Saint Augustine's University men's basketball team will play the Virginia State University-Fayetteville State University winner at the CIAA Tournament on Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, inside Time Warner Cable Arena at 7 p.m. The pairings were announced Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013.

The Falcons enter the tournament as the No. 4 seed out of the Southern Division. They finished the regular season 15-11 overall. They defeated Virginia State, the No. 5 Northern Division seed, 61-58 in Petersburg, Va., in their only regular-season meeting on Jan. 3, 2013.

The Falcons and Broncos split their season series. The Falcons took the first game 66-55 in Fayetteville, N.C., on Feb. 2, 2013. The Broncos, seeded sixth in the Southern Division, defeated the Falcons in overtime 59-57 in Raleigh, N.C., on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2013.

Virginia State is 12-14 overall and Fayetteville State is 9-16 overall entering the tournament.The winner of the St. Aug-VSU/FSU winner will play Southern Division top-seed Livingstone in a quarterfinal game on Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, at 7 p.m.
