MURFREESBORO, N.C. – Guard Raheem Jolliffe (Sr./Fayetteville, NC) scored 11 points for Saint Augustine's University in a 76-47 CIAA men's basketball loss to Chowan University at the Helms Center on Monday, January 5, 2015.

The Falcons dropped to 0-2 in the CIAA and 6-6 overall. The Hawks improved to 2-1 in the CIAA and 8-4 overall.

Guard Keith Crawford (Jr./Richmond, VA) added nine points while forward Julius Murphy (Fr./Goldsboro, NC) scored eight points and pulled down six rebounds. Forward Marquis Hines (Jr./Fayetteville, NC) and guard Anthony Gaskins (So./Greenville, NC) both scored seven points with Gaskins adding six rebounds and four assists.

Hank Edmonds led the Hawks with 19 points. Josh Mellette added 13 points and Kyree Bethel contributed 12 points.

The Falcons will host Bowie State University at Emery Gymnasium on Thursday, January 8, 2015, at 7:30 p.m. It will be the first of three home games in five days for the Falcons.
