The Saint Augustine's University men's and women's basketball teams both begin play in the CIAA Tournament on Tuesday, February 24, 2015. The Lady Falcons take on Virginia Union University in a first-round women's game at 4:30 p.m., and the Falcons face Elizabeth City State University in a first-round men's contest at 6:40 p.m. The site of the tournament is Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C.

This will be the third meeting this season between the Lady Falcons and Lady Panthers, who won both regular-season contests. The Lady Falcons (12-13 overall) are seeded fourth in the Southern Division and the Lady Panthers (8-17 overall) are seeded fifth in the Northern Division. The winner will play Northern Division champion The Lincoln (Pa.) University in the quarterfinals on Wednesday, February 25, at 2:20 p.m.

The Falcons and Vikings square off for the second time this season. The Vikings won the only regular-season meeting between both teams. The Falcons (11-15 overall) are seeded fifth in the Southern Division and the Vikings (9-20 overall) are seeded sixth in the Northern Division. The winner plays Chowan University, the No. 4 Northern Division seed, in a second-round game on Wednesday at 6:40 p.m.
