Anthony Gaskins Scores 22 Points For Falcons In Loss

MOUNT OLIVE, NC (Nov 18) – On Friday, Anthony Gaskins (Sr./Greenville, NC) scored 22 points for Saint Augustine's University, but the Falcons suffered a 73-64 men's basketball loss to Barton College on the first day of the Pickle Classic at Kornegay Arena.

The loss dropped the Falcons to 1-2 overall while Barton upped its record to 1-2. The Falcons will face the University of Mount Olive on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7:30 p.m.

Gaskins scored 17 points in the first half to spark the Falcons to a 41-33 halftime lead. Barton outscored the Falcons 40-23 in the second half to top the Falcons.

Kenneth Collins (Jr./Clayton, NC) added 12 points and Quincy January (Jr./Atlanta, GA) finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, three blocks and three assists for the Falcons. Michael Boykin led Barton with 14 points.
