The Falcons (2-6 Southern Division, 11-14 overall) are coming off a 66-59 men's victory over crosstown rival Shaw University on Saturday, Feb. 11. They aim to keep rolling against the Blue Bears (5-3 Southern Division, 9-15 overall), who are second in the Southern Division. Currently sixth in the division, the Falcons need victories over Livingstone and Fayetteville State University in the season finale for a chance to climb up the standings entering next week's CIAA Tournament.

Forward Quincy January (Jr./Atlanta, GA) leads the Falcons in scoring (16.6 points per game) and rebounding (10.0) and guard Anthony Gaskins (Sr./Greenville, NC) is the team's second-leading scorer (16.0). Forward David Duncan leads the Blue Bears in scoring (12.6) and rebounding (8.0).

With two games left in the regular season, the Lady Falcons (0-8 Southern Division, 3-23 overall) are looking to build momentum entering the tournament. They face a Blue Bears squad (4-4 Southern Division, 12-12 overall) that is fourth in the division.

Three-time CIAA Rookie of the Week winner Kaaliya Williams (Fr./Richmond, VA), a guard-forward, paces the Lady Falcons in scoring (12.4) and rebounding (4.3). Blue Bears guard Zena Lovette is the team's top scorer (17.9) and rebounder (9.5).
