RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 23) – Saint Augustine's University ends the basketball regular season against Fayetteville State University in a CIAA men's and women's doubleheader in Fayetteville, N.C., on Saturday, Feb. 24. Tipoff is 2 p.m. for the women and 4 p.m. for the men at Capel Arena.

The Falcons (12-14 overall) are tied for third in the Southern Division at 4-5 and the Broncos (7-19 overall) are fifth in the division at 3-6 in the men's standings. The Lady Falcons (7-17 overall) are fourth in the Southern Division at 3-6 and the Broncos (15-9 overall) are atop the division at 9-0 in the women's standings.
Tyre Gathright (Jr./Wilmington, NC) leads the Falcons in scoring (15.4) and Quincy January (Sr./Atlanta, GA) is the CIAA leader in rebounds (11.1) and field goal percentage (63.6). He scored his 1,500th career point against Livingstone College Wednesday and already has over 1,000 career rebounds. The high-jumping forward averages a double-double in points (12.6) and rebounds for the Falcons, who are the CIAA's three-point shooting leaders (37.5).
Kaaliya Williams (So./Richmond, VA) is the top scorer (15.7) for the Lady Falcons, who rank 11th nationally in Division II in turnovers forced (22.96). She ranks third nationally in Division II in free throw percentage (91.9).
Three players average over nine points a game for the Fayetteville State women including Shantel Bennett, who leads the team in scoring (11.0). The Broncos' women rank 11th nationally in Division II in three-point field goal defense (26.1). Josh Bryant averages 15.3 points to pace three double-figure scorers for the Broncos' men.
