RALEIGH, N.C. (Dec. 13) – Saint Augustine's University (SAU) starts the holiday break with a CIAA home men's basketball game against Elizabeth City State University on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Emery Gymnasium. Game time is 4 p.m.
Tickets are $13 for general admission as part of a men's and women's doubleheader and $8.50 for faculty and staff, military personnel with ID, senior citizens, visiting college students with ID and children ages 6 to 12. Admission is free for SAU students with valid ID and children ages 5 and under per one paying adult.

SAU (0-0 CIAA, 2-4 overall) is led in scoring by guard Jalen Gaddy (Sr./Raleigh, NC) with a 16.3 average. Gary Jefferson, a guard, (Jr./Baltimore, MD) averages 12 points and forward Miguel Brown (Jr./Wilson, NC) averages 9 points and 6.8 rebounds. Rashad George (Jr./Raleigh, NC), a guard, averages 8.3 points and 6.5 rebounds for the Falcons, who lead the CIAA with the fewest turnovers.
Justin Faison, a guard, leads Elizabeth City State (0-1 CIAA, 6-4 overall) in scoring with a 17.8 average. Zaccheus Hobbs, a guard, averages 14.9 points and forward Joseph Allen averages 14.2 points. Allen ranks second nationally in Division II in field goal percentage (72.2) and 6-11 forward Tyjhai Byers is seventh in the nation in blocked shots per game (2.67).
