SAU Men's Basketball Opens Four-Game Road Stretch Against Fayetteville State Saturday (Feb. 2)

RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 1) – After playing eight of their last nine games at home, Saint Augustine's University hits the road for four consecutive games starting with Fayetteville State University in Fayetteville, N.C., on Saturday, Feb. 2. Tipoff is 4 p.m. inside Capel Arena.

LAST GAME
Tyre Gathright tied a season-high with 27 points and recorded a career-high 12 rebounds, but Saint Augustine's University fell in overtime to Livingstone College 69-66 at Emery Gymnasium on Wednesday, Jan. 30. The double-double was the first for Gathright in a Falcons' uniform.

Fayetteville State scored a season high in points, but the Broncos suffered a 107-87 loss to Shaw University in Raleigh, N.C., on Wednesday, Jan. 30. Shaw took control early in the first half for a 51-33 halftime lead. Fayetteville State played better in the second half but couldn't close the double-digit deficit. Xavier Williams and Denzell Hosch led the Broncos' effort with 17 points.
