RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 24) – Lincoln (Pa.) University will be the opponent for both Saint Augustine's University men's and women's teams in the opening round of the CIAA Basketball Tournament in Charlotte, N.C., on Tuesday, Feb. 26.

The Lady Falcons face Lincoln (Pa.) at 12:10 p.m. and the Falcons take on the Lions at 6:40 p.m. at Bojangles' Coliseum. The victors will advance to the quarterfinal round with Johnson C. Smith University awaiting the women's winner on Thursday, Feb. 28, at 3 p.m. and Shaw University awaiting the men's winner on Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 8:50 p.m.

The Lady Falcons (3-22 overall) are the No. 6 women's seed and the Falcons (10-16 overall) are the No. 5 men's seed in the Southern Division. Lincoln (Pa.) (15-13 overall) is the No. 3 women's seed and the Lions (14-14 overall) are the No. 4 men's seed in the Northern Division.

The Lady Falcons lost to Lincoln (Pa.) 58-50 and the Falcons' men topped the Lions 72-62 in their only meetings during the regular season on Jan. 12. Both contests were played at Emery Gymnasium in Raleigh, N.C.
