The Saint Augustine's College women's basketball team snapped a two-game losing skid, defeating the Hawks of Chowan University, 72-60. The match-up was a non-conference game for both institutions. The Falcons held the Hawks to just 36% (22-62) from the floor and forced 24 turnovers. The Lady Falcons improve their record to 5-2 while Chowan falls to 1-4.

Saint Augustine's took a 43-24 lead into halftime and never gave up the lead in the game. Chowan battled late in the second half to cut the Lady Falcon lead to under ten points but time ran out on the Hawks as they fell with the eventual 72-60 score.

The Lady Falcons got double digit scoring from two players. LeKeisha White scored 18 points while Jolisa Williams contributed 13 points and six rebounds.

Saint Augustine's College will take two weeks off before traveling to Lakeland, Florida to participate in the Florida Southern College Classic on December 18-19, 2010.
