Kelcyn Manurs scored 16 points and Montiya Harrison dished out 11 assists for the Lady Blue Bears.

Both the Lady Falcons and Lady Blue Bears are the CIAA's highest scoring teams, and they didn't disappoint. The Lady Falcons scored 10 points over their average of 73.1 points a game, while the Lady Blue Bears were two points from their average of 75.7.

Free throws turned out to be the difference as the Lady Falcons were 23-for-38 from the charity stripe compared to 6-of-14 for the Lady Blue Bears. Torain of the Lady Falcons was 10-for-14 and Sikes was 5-for-6 while Davis was 4-for-6.

The Lady Falcons made 14 of 19 free throws in the second half. They iced the game by connecting on 8 of 11 free throws in the final 3:21 to hold off the Lady Bears, who cut a 14-point deficit to six in a two-minute span. Torain made 4 of 6 free throws in the final three minutes for the Lady Falcons, who also outrebounded the Lady Blue Bears 58-49 for the game including 21-12 in offensive rebounds.

Sikes, White and senior guard Crystal McCaffity (Havelock, N.C.) were honored after the game along with the men's basketball and cheerleading seniors.

The Lady Falcons finish the regular season with two games next week. They visit Johnson C. Smith Monday in a CIAA matchup at 5:30 p.m. The Lady Falcons won the first meeting 71-56 on Feb. 12.
