CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Senior Keyona Bryant (Springdale, Md.) of Saint Augustine's College scored her 1,500^th career basketball point against Johnson C. Smith University on Saturday (Feb. 11).

The 6-1 forward scored 14 points against the Lady Golden Bulls in a 68-49 CIAA women's basketball loss. She now has 1,510 points in her illustrious career, which includes two All-CIAA selections and a CIAA rookie of the year award.  

Bryant is the Lady Falcons' second leading career scorer behind former standout Valicia Brown (1,522 points) according to the CIAA Record Book. She is listed among the top 25 league career scorers according to the CIAA Record Book.

Bryant needed only four points entering the contest against JCSU. She reached the plateau on a layup at the 9:39 mark of the first half.
