Jeanne-Marie Wilson (Temple Hills, MD) scored 15 points and Saint Augustine's University made seven consecutive free throws in overtime to edge USC Aiken 68-63 in women's college basketball on Saturday, November 23, 2013.

Porscha Walton (Chesterfield, VA) finished with eight points, seven rebounds, five assists and two steals for the Lady Falcons (2-2 overall), who outscored USC Aiken 11-6 in the extra session for their second straight win. The victory was the first on the road for the Lady Falcons.

Rachel Bullard said. "Our young ladies played together and they were very disciplined. I'm proud of our effort and the fact that we came together as a unit. We were on one accord and that felt good."
McCombs hit three straight free throws to give the Lady Falcons the lead for good at 64-63 with 1:04 left in overtime. Wilson added two more free throws for a three-point lead with 46 seconds left. After USC Aiken misfired on a three-pointer, sophomore guard
Lakiya Rouse (Greensboro, NC) swished two more free throws with 17 seconds left for the final margin.

Terri Jacobs (McDonough, GA) had six rebounds for the Lady Falcons. Junior forward
Brittany Allen (Jamaica Queens, NY) had six points and five rebounds.
The athleticism of the Lady Falcons gave them the edge against USC Aiken. The Lady Falcons outscored USC Aiken 34-18 in the paint and forced 17 turnovers. Wilson had three of the Lady Falcons' 11 steals.
"USC Aiken is a very good team but we were able to take advantage of them using quickness and attacking the basket," Bullard said.
Porsha Martin paced USC Aiken (1-4 overall) with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Amaura Brandt had 12 points and Mackenzie Reese collected 10 rebounds and 9 assists.
The Lady Falcons led nearly the entire second half. Walton hit a jumper for a 41-30 lead with 15:40 remaining in regulation, but USC Aiken took the lead at 44-43 on Brandt's three-pointer at the 8:48 mark.
The Lady Falcons regained the lead and held it until late in regulation. Walton scored a field goal for a 51-46 lead with 5:05 remaining, but USC Aiken tied the game at 57-57 with 40 seconds left on two Tiffany Addison free throws. Neither team scored in the closing seconds, and the game went into overtime.
In the first half, the Lady Falcons found themselves down by 11 points with 4:37 on the clock. They mounted a furious rally to take a 28-26 lead at halftime on a jumper by senior power forward
Victoria Davis (San Diego, CA) with 16 seconds left in the half.
The Lady Falcons are back on the road on Tuesday, November 26 at Barton College for a 5:30 p.m. non-conference contest. This will be the second of six consecutive away games for the Lady Falcons.
