Terri Jacobs (McDonough, GA) scored 15 points to lead a balanced scoring attack for Saint Augustine's University, but the Lady Falcons lost a hard-fought 76-68 women's basketball contest to Mount Olive College at Kornegay Arena on Saturday, November 30, 2013.

Junior forward
Brittany Allen (Jamaica Queens, NY) had five of the Lady Falcons' 14 steals. The Lady Falcons also forced 27 Mount Olive turnovers to keep pace with the Lady Trojans.
The Lady Trojans knocked down 21 of 28 free throw attempts for 75 percent to pull out the win. They were 15 of 18 from the free throw line in the second half for 83.3 percent in the second half including 13 of 14 in the final 6:35 to erase a 58-54 Lady Falcons' lead. The Lady Falcons were outscored 22-10 during that stretch.
The Lady Falcons hit 12 of 15 free throws for 80 percent for the game. They were 7 of 10 from the charity stripe for 70 percent in the second half.
"Our ladies fought hard the entire game and I'm proud of their effort," said St. Aug Head Coach
Rachel Bullard, whose squad fell to 2-4 overall. "We fell short with the number of free throw attempts we allowed. We are going to be fine. We just have to keep pushing."
Jacobs scored 13 points in the second half. Davis added six points and Walton had four points, four assists and four rebounds in the second stanza, which featured six ties and seven lead changes. For the game, Walton registered six points, seven assists, six rebounds and two steals.
The Lady Falcons were down 14-0 in the game's opening minutes. They stormed back with a 36-20 run to go into halftime leading 36-34. The trio of Rouse, Dunaway and Wilson each scored seven points in the first half for the Lady Falcons.
Rouse and Dunaway each added four rebounds and two assists in the first half. Walton had three assists and Allen had three steals for the Lady Falcons.
For the game, Katie Paschal led all scorers with 23 points while Joneiqua Gary and Jasmine McDonald added 16 and 14 points, respectively, for the Lady Trojans (3-2 overall). Ty Wallace added 10 rebounds for the Lady Trojans, who outrebounded the Lady Falcons 46-33.
The Lady Falcons visit CIAA member Elizabeth City State University at the Vaughn Center in Elizabeth City, N.C. on Thursday, December 5. Game time for the non-conference contest is 5:30 p.m.
