The Saint Augustine's University Women's Basketball Team hits the road again for an away game on Thursday, December 5, 2013. The opponent is fellow CIAA member Elizabeth City State University in a non-conference game at the Vaughn Center in Elizabeth City, N.C. The starting time is 6 p.m.

This will be the fourth of a six-game road stretch for the Lady Falcons, who have nine underclassmen on their roster. They are led by the sophomore quartet of guards
Regime McCombs (Greenville, SC),
Porscha Walton (Chesterfield, VA),
Jeanne-Marie Wilson (Temple Hills, MD) and forward
Terri Jacobs (McDonough, GA).
McCombs and Jacobs pace the Lady Falcons in scoring with 12.5 and 11.3 averages, respectively. An All-CIAA Preseason Pick, Walton contributes 9.2 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists and 2.3 steals per game and Walton averages 7.3 points and 2.2 steals. Last season's CIAA Women's Basketball Rookie of the Year, McCombs ranks fifth in the conference in three-point field goal percentage (46.2).
As a team, the Lady Falcons (2-4 overall) rank second in the league in three-point field goal percentage (34.1) and fifth in steals per game (11.3). They are looking to snap a two-game losing streak.
In their last game on November 30, Jacobs scored 15 points and the foursome of McCombs, Wilson, sophomore guard
Lakiya Rouse (Greensboro, NC) and senior forward
Victoria Davis (San Diego, CA) added nine points each in a 76-68 road loss to Mount Olive College. Walton added six points, seven assists, six rebounds and two steals for the Lady Falcons.
The Lady Vikings (3-4 overall) are led in scoring by junior guard DaShera Boone (12.1 ppg) and senior guard Derricka Henry (10.6 ppg). Senior center Ya'Shonti Bridgers averages 8.2 points and a team-high 9.0 rebounds while Henry averages 4.3 assists for the Lady Vikings, who rank fourth in the CIAA in points allowed (60.0 per game).
Bridgers is tied for second in the CIAA in rebounding and ranks fifth in field goal percentage (50.0). Henry ranks third in the conference in assists for the Lady Vikings, who are riding a two-game win streak.
In their last game, the Lady Vikings defeated CIAA member Fayetteville State University 64-53 in a non-conference game on December 2. Boone sparked the Lady Vikings with 14 points and Henry added 12 points, eight assists, six steals and four rebounds.
