Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 RALEIGH, N.C. – Saint Augustine's University hit two home runs in doubleheader softball losses to Belmont Abbey College at Buffaloe Road Park on Sunday, March 17, 2013. The first score was 8-2 and the second score was 4-2.

Taylor Walters (So./Douglasville, Ga.) hammered the first homer over the fence in the first game. It cut Belmont Abbey's lead to 2-1 in the second inning before the Lady Falcons were outscored 6-1 the rest of the contest. Michelle Shackelford (Jr./Bowie, Md.) of the Lady Falcons provided the other run when hit an RBI double in the sixth.

Daja White (Fr./Leland, N.C.) hit the second home run for the Lady Falcons in the second contest. Her home run pulled the Lady Falcons within 3-2 iin the fifth inning but Belmont Abbey prevailed. The Lady Falcons (5-5-1 overall) led briefly when Hannah Stutts (So./Statesville, N.C.) hit an RBI single in the first inning.
