"What a game against Bowie!," Bullard said. "[The Lady Bulldogs] are a good team They proved that when they made a late run against us. I knew they had another run left in them but we were able to withstand it by attacking the rim (getting fouled) and getting huge stops on defense. I'm so proud of our cohesiveness and our effort as a team. We will enjoy this win but we have to regroup and get ready for Lincoln University."
Sophomore guard Jeanne-Marie Wilson (Temple Hills, MD) added 12 points in a return to her home state and sophomore guard Porscha Walton (Chesterfield, VA) scored 10 points for the Lady Falcons.
