Saint Augustine's University aims for its fifth consecutive women's basketball victory when the Lady Falcons take on Elizabeth City State University at the R.L. Vaughan Center in Elizabeth City, N.C., on Saturday, January 3, 2015. The contest, which begins at 2 p.m., is the CIAA opener for the Lady Falcons.

The contest is the first game of a doubleheader between the men's and women's teams of both universities. The price of the doubleheader is $5.

Regime McCombs (Jr./Greenville, SC) led five double-figure scorers with 18 points for the Lady Falcons.

McCombs is off to a fantastic start. The sharpshooting junior, named Co-CIAA Player of the Week, ranks fifth in the CIAA in scoring (16 ppg) and second in three-point shooting percentage (50.8). Among the nation's top three-point shooters, McCombs ranks seventh in Division II in three-pointers made per game (3.44) and 10
th in three-point percentage.

McCombs is one four double-figure scorers for the Lady Falcons. Guards
Porscha Walton (Jr./Chesterfield, VA) and
Jeanne-Marie Wilson (Jr./Temple Hills, MD) average 11.7 points and 11 points, respectively. Forward
Terri Jacobs (Jr./McDonough, GA) averages 10.4 points. As a team, the Lady Falcons average 76 points.
Jacobs is also a force on the offensive glass. She averages four offensive rebounds which ranks her 25
th in Division II. The junior forward is a big reason why the Lady Falcons rank 16
th in Division II in offensive rebounds per game (18). Overall, Jacobs averages 8.2 total rebounds per game.

While the Lady Falcons are scoring on offense, Elizabeth City State is getting it done defensively. The Lady Vikings (0-1 CIAA, 5-5 overall) average 61 points but are forcing 25 turnovers per game. They have limited opponents to less than 70 points in their last six games.

Many of their points come from guard Jadda Jefferies, who ranks second in the CIAA in scoring (22.8). She also ranks second in the conference in steals per game (3.7).
