"An absolutely disappointing loss," Lady Falcons' Head Coach Rachel Bullard said. "We came out flat and Chowan took advantage of it. We turned the ball over and missed crucial defensive assignments. Terri Jacobs had a great game but it was too late. We have to decide to play at the beginning of the game so we're not playing catch up at the end. Tomorrow is a new day."Â
The Lady Falcons shot 30 percent but outrebounded the taller Hawks 51-44 including a 22-10 edge in offensive rebounds which led to 19 second-chance points. The Hawks made 49 percent of their shots.

The Lady Falcons will begin a three-game homestand at Emery Gymnasium on Thursday, January 8, 2015. They will host Bowie State University at 5:30 p.m.
