About The Lady Falcons' Interim Head Coach
Jarita Crump is in her first season as the Lady Falcons' interim head women's basketball coach. She was the Lady Falcons' assistant coach the past three seasons in addition to the 2010-2011 season. The Lady Falcons won four of their five consecutive CIAA Highest Grade Point Average Awards in women's basketball with Crump on staff. During the 2010-2011 season, the Lady Falcons earned a 19-11 overall mark and reached the CIAA Tournament semifinals with Crump as assistant coach.

Ke-Ashe Lee (So./Roanoke, VA) matched Dorsey with 17 points and added eight rebounds. Khadijah Payne (So./Gloucester, VA) scored 16 points on 10 of 12 free-throw attempts. The point totals were career highs for Lee and Payne.

Akera McPhaul (Fr./Greensboro, NC) is tied for sixth in the CIAA with 2.5 steals per game. She also averages seven points and shoots 80 percent from the free-throw line. McPhaul is a stellar scholar-athlete who also excels in softball and volleyball at Saint Augustine's University.
Washington Having Breakout Season
Shakeisha Washington (Jr./Atlanta, GA) is second on the team in points (11) and rebounds (7.8) per game. The third-year center also averages 2.8 assists and shoots 37.5 percent from three-point land in addition to making 75 percent of her free throw attempts.
Dorsey Selected To CIAA-Mountain East All-Tourney Team
Guard Sycoya Dorsey (Jr./Richmond, VA) of the Lady Falcons was named to the CIAA-Mountain East All-Tournament team for her play on the basketball court Nov. 14-15, 2015. Dorsey averaged 20 points, 7.5 rebounds and three steals in the CIAA-Mountain East Classic in Charlotte, N.C.
