Kiana Clark Paces The Lady Falcons With 12 Points

RALEIGH, NC (Nov 26) – On Saturday, Kiana Clark (Fr./Queens, NY) scored 12 points for Saint Augustine's University in a 103-51 women's basketball loss to Chowan University in the ECSU Thanksgiving Classic at the Vaughan Center in Elizabeth City, N.C.

Clark was 4 of 7 from the floor including 3 of 5 from three-point land. Kamya Renwicks (Fr./Baltimore, MD) added seven points, three assists and three steals and Kaaliya Williams (Fr./Richmond, VA) hauled in nine rebounds for the Lady Falcons (2-5 overall).

Jordan Payne collected 24 points, 11 rebounds and three steals for the unbeaten Hawks (6-0). She led four Chowan double-figure scorers.

The contest was a non-conference matchup between the CIAA schools. They will meet again in a conference game in Murfreesboro, N.C. on Saturday, Dec. 17 at 2 p.m.

The Lady Falcons will return to action Wednesday, Nov. 30 against the University of North Carolina at Pembroke in Pembroke, N.C. Tip-off is 5:30 p.m.
