Maiya Gibson and Ja'Yon Leak Scored 10 Points Apiece For The Lady Falcons

RALEIGH, NC (Dec 13) – On Tuesday, Maiya Gibson (Jr./Randallstown, MD) and Ja'Yon Leak (Fr./Charlotte, NC) both scored 10 points for Saint Augustine's University in a 69-33 women's basketball loss to Division I Campbell University at Gore Arena in Buies Creek, N.C.

Kiana Clark (Fr./Queens, NY) added nine points and six rebounds for the Lady Falcons (3-8 overall). Summer Price and Caroline Bowns both scored 12 points for Campbell (4-3 overall), which jumped out to an 11-0 lead and never looked back.

The Lady Falcons open CIAA play against Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, N.C. on Thursday, Dec. 15 at 5:30 p.m. This will be the second of four away games in six days for the Lady Falcons.
