Kaaliya Williams And Ja'Yon Leak Score Double Figures For Lady Falcons

ETTRICK, Va. (Dec 18) - On Sunday, Kaaliya Williams (Fr./Richmond, VA) scored 16 points and Ja'Yon Leak (Fr./Charlotte, NC) added 15 points for Saint Augustine's University in a 79-45 CIAA women's basketball loss to Virginia State University at the VSU Multipurpose Center.

Kiana Clark (Fr./Queens, NY) added six points, five assists and four rebounds for the Lady Falcons (0-3 CIAA, 3-11 overall). Leak scored 11 points in the fourth period when the Lady Falcons outscored the Trojans 18-8.

Nandi Taylor led the Trojans (2-0 CIAA, 9-2 overall) with 22 points. Taylor Daniels and Mia Fitts each scored 13 points.

After opening the season with 14 straight road games, the Lady Falcons will host Barton College in their home debut inside Emery Gymnasium on Saturday, Dec. 31. Tip-off is 2 p.m.
