Box Score The Junior Forward Collects 13 Points, 11 Rebounds And Two Steals For The Lady Falcons
WINSTON-SALEM, NC (Dec 4) – On Sunday, Paulette Addison (Jr./Wilmington, NC) posted season highs of 13 points, 11 rebounds and two steals for Saint Augustine's University in an 81-60 women's basketball loss to Clark Atlanta University on the final day of the Red & White Classic at the Gaines Center.
Addison scored six points during a six-minute stretch in the second quarter to help the Lady Falcons gain their only lead at 29-28 after trailing 24-15 at the end of the first quarter. She finished the contest with her first double-double as a Lady Falcon.
Kiana Clark (Fr./Queens, NY) added 12 points and Kaaliya Williams (Fr./Richmond, VA) and Ja'Yon Leak (Fr./Charlotte, NC) both contributed 10 points for the Lady Falcons (3-7 overall), who outscored the Panthers 31-14 in bench points and 13-8 in second chance points.
Clark Atlanta's Marissa Mandeldove scored 26 points on 8 of 8 shooting including 17 in the second half when the Panthers (4-4 overall) opened a double digit lead after entering the locker room ahead 39-32 at halftime. Nicole Graham added 16 points and Courtney Hall chipped in 15 points and 10 rebounds for the Panthers, who shot 48.2 percent including 46.7 percent behind the three-point arc.
The Lady Falcons will take a break for exams before returning to the court Tuesday, Dec. 13 against Campbell University in Buies Creek, N.C. at 5:30 p.m. The contest will be the 11th straight away from home for the Lady Falcons since the season started.
