LAURINBURG, N.C. – Saint Augustine's University will visit St. Andrews University in its last non-conference softball doubleheader of the season at Knights Softball Field on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Game times are 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.
The first game will be the completion of a suspended contest on Feb. 3 in Raleigh, N.C. The Lady Falcons trailed 4-3 in the second inning when the game was stopped due to rain.
The Lady Falcons (7-19 overall) are on a four-game win streak. The defending CIAA champions are coming off a doubleheader sweep of crosstown rival Shaw University on Saturday, April 16, at Worthdale Park in Raleigh, N.C. The scores were 8-0 and 8-0.
Marley Parker (So./Langley, British Columbia) has been on a tear lately for the Lady Falcons. She ranks second in the CIAA in batting average (.485) and first in the league in on base percentage (.545) in addition to firing two consecutive no-hitters. Kori Ballard leads St. Andrews (15-29 overall) with a .398 batting average.
