SAU Women's Basketball Hosts Clark Atlanta Saturday, Nov. 17

RALEIGH, N.C. (Nov. 16) – Saint Augustine's University hosts Clark Atlanta University in a non-conference women's basketball game at Emery Gymnasium on Saturday, Nov. 17. The contest begins at 2 p.m.

This is the second home contest in three games for the Lady Falcons. They opened their season at Emery Gymnasium last Saturday, Nov. 10, in impressive fashion despite a 78-69 loss to the University of Mount Olive. Kelsee Arnold (Sr./Fayetteville, GA) scored a career-high 23 points and Kamya Renwicks (Jr./Baltimore, MD) added 11 points as the Lady Falcons shot 50 percent as a team.

Both Arnold and Renwicks average 11.5 points per game for the Lady Falcons. Shankia Clark (Jr./Orlando, FL) average 7.5 points and 4.5 rebounds.

The Lady Falcons (0-2 overall) are coming off an 87-58 loss to Barton College in Wilson, N.C., on Tuesday, Nov. 13. They are seeking their first victory of the season against Clark Atlanta (0-2 overall), which lost to Emery-Riddle University 80-45 and Eckerd College 73-29 in the Bahama House Regional Crossover Challenge in Daytona Beach, Fla., last weekend. Reagan Jackson and Reyana Miller each scored 11 points against Embry-Riddle, and Jackson scored seven points against Eckerd.
