In their first meeting on Jan. 24, the Lady Falcons topped the Lady Bears 61-59 at home for their first victory in the rivalry since 2010. Kaaliya Williams (So./Richmond, VA) led the Lady Falcons with 16 points and eight rebounds followed by Kelsee Arnold (Jr./Fayetteville, GA) with 14 points and Kamya Renwicks (So./Baltimore, MD) with 10 points.
Williams leads the Lady Falcons in points per game (14.9), which ranks ninth in the CIAA. She also ranks fifth nationally in Division II in free throw percentage (91.1). Quiera Gilmore (So./Charlotte, NC) and Kelsee Arnold (Jr./Fayetteville, GA) average 8.4 points and 8.0 points, respectively, for the Lady Falcons, who rank 12th nationally in Division II in turnovers forced (23.05).
LaQuisha Taylor is the top scorer for the Lady Bears. She ranks second in the conference in points per game (18.0).
The Lady Falcons (6-16 overall) are fourth in the Southern Division at 2-5. The Lady Bears (5-20 overall) are tied for fifth at 1-6.
