SAU Women's Basketball Falls To Fayetteville State In Season Finale

RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 24) – Kaaliya Williams (So./Richmond, VA) scored 14 points and Paulette Addison (Sr./Wilmington, NC) added a season-high 11 points for Saint Augustine's University in an 87-52 CIAA women's basketball loss to Fayetteville State University at Capel Arena on Saturday.

The Lady Falcons ended the regular season 7-18 overall including a 3-7 Southern Division mark. They will be the No. 4 Southern Division seed in the CIAA Tournament, which will be held Tuesday, Feb. 27 through Saturday, March 3 at Bojangles Coliseum and the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, N.C.

Kelsee Arnold (Jr./Fayetteville, GA) had seven points, three assists and two steals, and Tomisha Davis (Sr./New Bern, NC) had nine rebounds and two steals for the Lady Falcons. Breona Jones scored 17 points to lead five double-figure scorers for the Broncos (16-9 overall), who claimed the Southern Division title with a 10-0 mark.
