RALEIGH, N.C. (Nov. 22) – The Saint Augustine's University women's basketball team will play in front of home fans for the first time this season on Saturday, Nov. 23.
The Lady Falcons host UNC Pembroke in a non-conference contest. Game time is 2 p.m. inside Emery Gymnasium.
Tickets are $9 for general admission and $5.50 for faculty and staff, military personnel with ID, senior citizens, visiting college students with ID and children ages 6 to 12. Admission is free for SAU students with valid ID and children ages 5 and under per one paying adult.

The Lady Falcons (2-1 overall) are off to a good start behind the play of Quiera Gilmore (Sr./Charlotte, NC), the nation's Division II steals leader. In addition to steals, Gilmore leads the team in scoring (18.3 ppg) and is second in rebounds (5.7 rpg) and assists (2.0 apg).
Gilmore is backed by a strong veteran nucleus. Kaaliya Williams (Sr./Richmond, VA) averages 13.3 points and Angela Caraballo (Sr./Richmond, VA) averages 8.7 points. Shankia Clark (Sr. /Orlando, FL) averages 5.7 points and 6.3 rebounds, and Kiana Clark (Sr. /Queens, NY) averages 5.0 points for the Lady Falcons, who rank seventh in the country in turnovers forced (27.0) and 18th nationally in three-point field goal defense (20.8). Ten players average 10 or more minutes for the Lady Falcons.
Melanie Horne paces UNC Pembroke (3-2 overall) in scoring with a 9.2 average. Aliyah Farmer and Jillian Ebron both average 8.0 points for the Braves.
