RALEIGH, N.C. (Dec. 13) – Saint Augustine's University plays four women's basketball games during the holiday break beginning with a CIAA home contest against Elizabeth City State University on Saturday, Dec. 14. Tipoff is 2 p.m. inside Emery Gymnasium.
Tickets are $13 for general admission as part of a men's and women's doubleheader and $8.50 for faculty and staff, military personnel with ID, senior citizens, visiting college students with ID and children ages 6 to 12. Admission is free for SAU students with valid ID and children ages 5 and under per one paying adult.

The Lady Falcons (0-0 CIAA, 4-3 overall) are paced by the duo of forward Kaaliya Williams (Sr./Richmond, VA) and guard Quiera Gilmore (Sr./Charlotte, NC). Williams averages 15.1 points and 5.6 rebounds, and Gilmore averages 13.1 points and 4.0 steals, which ranks sixth nationally in Division II. As a team, the Lady Falcons rank sixth nationally in turnovers forced (25.14).
The Vikings (1-0 CIAA, 3-5 overall) are sparked by guard Asia Deal (13.8 points) and forward Devona Stell (11.5 points/10.1 rebounds), who ranks 19th nationally in offensive rebounds per game (4.3) and 20th in blocked shots (17). The Vikings are the conference leaders in blocked shots per game (3.8).
After facing Elizabeth City State, the Lady Falcons host Virginia State University on Monday, Dec. 16. Then they hit the road to visit Claflin University (Dec. 18) and Winston-Salem State University (Dec. 21) to end the 2019 year.
