SAU Women's Basketball Visits Johnson C. Smith Thursday (Feb. 7)

RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 6) – Saint Augustine's University visits Johnson C. Smith University in a CIAA Southern Division women's basketball contest at Brayboy Gymnasium in Charlotte, N.C., on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019. Tipoff is 5:30 p.m.

This is the first of two away games in three days for the Lady Falcons, who visit Winston-Salem State University on Saturday, Feb. 9. The contest against the Golden Bulls was originally scheduled on Wednesday, Feb. 13. They return home Saturday, Feb. 16, against Shaw University at Emery Gymnasium.

Kiana Clark scored 12 points, including four three-pointers, for the Lady Falcons in a 58-40 loss to Fayetteville State University at Capel Arena in Fayetteville, N.C., on Saturday, Feb. 2. Shankia Clark added eight points and eight rebounds for the Lady Falcons.

Johnson C. Smith scored 43 points in the paint in an 89-58 victory over Shaw University at Brayboy Gymnasium in Charlotte, N.C., on Saturday, Feb. 2. The Golden Bulls forced 23 turnovers, scoring 30 points off those turnovers in a game decided in the first quarter. Teana Lewis had 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead four double-figure scorers for the Golden Bulls.
