SAU Women's Basketball Visits Johnson C. Smith Tuesday (Feb. 11)

RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 10) – Saint Augustine's University squares off against Johnson C. Smith University in a CIAA women's basketball game in Charlotte, N.C., on Tuesday, Feb. 11. Tipoff is 5:30 p.m. at Brayboy Gymnasium.

This is the second meeting between the two Southern Division schools this season. The Lady Falcons lost 65-57 in Raleigh, N.C., on Jan. 27.

The Lady Falcons (9-15 overall, 4-10 CIAA) are coming off a 67-64 Senior Day victory over Winston-Salem State University at Emery Gymnasium on Saturday, Feb. 8. Angela Caraballo (Sr./Richmond, VA) scored 16 points and Kaaliya Williams (Sr./Richmond, VA) scored 14 points to reach the 1,000-career point plateau.

Williams leads the Lady Falcons in points per game (11.0). Kamya Renwicks (Sr./Baltimore, MD) is second on the team in scoring (9.4) and steals (1.6), and first in assists (2.7). Shankia Clark (Sr./Orlando, FL) is the rebounding leader (6.0) and Jordyn Burton (So./Durham, NC) is the blocks leader (1.2).

Le'Zarea Bowens leads the Golden Bulls (14-9 overall, 9-4 CIAA) in scoring (12.2) and Aubriana Bonner paces the team in rebounding (7.2) and assists (2.9) in addition to averaging 10.8 points.
