SAU Women's Basketball Visits Shaw In Rematch Friday (Feb. 14)

RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 13) – Saint Augustine's University travels crosstown to face archrival Shaw University at Spaulding Gymnasium on Friday, Feb. 14. Tipoff is 6 p.m.

The Lady Falcons are looking to sweep the Lady Bears for the first time since the 2008-09 season. In the first meeting, Kaaliya Williams (Sr./Richmond, VA) scored 16 points in a 73-60 victory at Emery Gymnasium on Jan. 25. She was one of four players in double figures for the Lady Falcons.

Williams paces the Lady Falcons (9-16 overall, 4-11 CIAA) in scoring (11.0) and is the team's second-leading rebounder (4.6). Kamya Renwicks (Sr./Baltimore, MD) is second in scoring (9.1) and first in assists (2.7).

Renwicks is the steals co-leader (1.6) with Quiera Gilmore (Sr./Charlotte, NC), who is tied with Angela Caraballo (Sr./Richmond, VA) in points per game (8.0). Shankia Clark (Sr./Orlando, FL) leads the Lady Falcons in rebounding (6.5) and Jordyn Burton (So./Durham, NC) is among the CIAA leaders in blocks (1.2).

Dejoria Howard tops the Lady Bears (6-17 overall, 2-12 CIAA) in scoring (13.8) and rebounding (6.0). She scored 14 points and Ariana Fleming had 19 points against the Lady Falcons in the first matchup between the two teams.
